DL Run from NY

Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie to runs (freq business flier) and have been weighing up doing my first mileage run for some time now.

I've decided to do a domestic one first so any tips on what route I should do from NY on DL would be appreciated.

I'm already watching the Millage Run deals and following some folks on twitter as recommended by a few people on the forum.

I'm really excited! and appreciate any help and advice

ANC is often a good domestic destination, for example JFK-SEA-ANC-SEA-SLC-JFK same day return 4/5 is $422, 7957 miles. You usually do better though on international, for example JFK-SEA-HKG-SEA-JFK out 4/2 return 4/4 is $709, 17760 miles. SIN is also a good MR destination.

Okay, thanks for some fare help over on twitter from the LaptopTravel guys I'm now doing my first two runs in March.

JFK > LAX > LAS | LAS > LAX > JFK March 8
and
JFK > SLC > DFW | DFW > SLC > JFK March 29

All same day with a red eye back! I can't wait. Both around 6k miles each with a 3.1 & 2.5 cpm respectfully.

Now planning a mega run for later this year. Fancy HKG!
