AA: Need 2,084 EQP's out of PHX to re-qualify EXP: suggestions?
I'm a little new to this...never been right on the bubble before. Also inexperienced with how American calculates elite qualifying points. I know I need 2,084 to get to 100,000 (need more miles - ~7,500).
How miles transfer to points for existing EQP's I have no idea. I have more points than miles at least partly due to some first class promo, but not sure if I really need to fly 2084 RT or could go less.
Any help on how far I need to go -- or suggestions for trips from PHX appreciated!

That was helpful, way to participate.
Gizmo78 Take a look at this page from the AA website to understand how EQP's are earned. Basically you need a cheap 4,196mi MR that earns .5EQP per mile or a 2,048 that earns 1.0EQP per mile.
This weekend there are some PHX-NYC turns for under $310 which is not bad! You will get plenty of miles, and be good for 2016. If you don't like NYC there are similar fares to BOS, WAS, and CLT but make sure you fly far enough. Also, I'd pick one quick!
Good luck!
