Did you have any actual schedule changes? I got a schedule change email from AA (I'm AA-ticketed), but all I see that has changed is them now leaving the "fare code" column empty! At the bottom, they note that this is an "exchange" ticket.

Did anyone else get this? Does anyone know if this is a bad sign for EQM/EQP-accrual purposes?

Did you check to see what the actual schedule changes were? Hours and times?

I believe tomorrow will be the first actual flights (non-positioning). Just over 24 hours till I can check in for my non-positioning flights (flying 4/9).

Yup. Originally was flying LHR-MCO and then to MCO-LAX-SFO. was rerouted LHR-MIA-MCO-PHX-LAX-SFO. Called up and changed it to LHR-MIA-LAX-SFO.

Exchange means the ticket has been changed prior to departure. It is like you took in your paper ticket and you exchanged it for a different one.

It is called a re-issue if the ticket was changed after departure.

Right... except I have not done anything to cause this exchange. They made it unilaterally - which is why I'm wondering what they are up to. Especially now that they have removed the fare codes.

I'm sure this was asked before, but is it possible to change the outbound? I assume there will be a fee, but is it possible without a reprice?

The fare conditions mention 300 EUR to change after travel has commenced and no fare re-pricing, but whether or not in reality that will actually work.....

It took me five hours with various BA call centres to change a partially flown £1600 I class ticket yesterday, even though I knew exactly which flights I wanted and the booking codes had availability.

I wouldn't count on being able to change these tickets!
