Post #41 is a giant photo of a FTer inside a jet during one of these rides. IIRC he also later posted a flickr album with more photos and a video.
Another FTer posted the big photo. I posted my album with pics and a vid

Ahh, got it. And thanks to you both!

I couldn't make things work that weekend so it was nice to live vicariously.

Hey Guys

Long time lurker and finally decided to commit and start contributing, no excuses for waiting this long.

I saw this post of Valentines day and really got hooked into the concept, 3 days ago I bit the bullet and signed up for a membership.

I'm based out of YUL so I had asked them to pull up all empty legs in the last 30 days prior to signing up. Most went to NYC and MIA regions which is perfect for a family of 4, we could drive back with a rental car from NYC or use avios to fly back from either cities.

I have yet to take my first flight but when I do I'll make sure to post some pictures.

PM if you'd like to know what I paid etc.

Since I don't believe this special is active any more, I'm going to move this to the Mileage Run Discussion thread. You are all encouraged to follow along and contribute to the discussion there.

You are correct. I did admit I was being lazy yesterday.

Today I scanned every post. If anyone is interested, here are the stats:

Lots of signups (I did not count)

9 people booked flights

Of the 9 booked, 3 flights were taken.

Of the 9 booked, 2 were cancelled.

My math may be off but that leaves 4 others? Booked but not flown?

As far as we know, correct.

I'm hoping they do another one of these deals sometime soon. Unfortunately during the Valentine's day promotion there weren't any departing from Northern California, but it sounds like several people purchased memberships from this thread, so it probably paid off for them.

Damm it. My parents live in PAH. I'd position myself to Naples just to fly that route!

No fair. I presume these are empty legs, and they'd have to pay to de-ice it anyway.

I wasnt charged for internet...in fact my pilot made a point of noting there were no passwords or special connection requirements, it would just pop on at 10k feet.

Signed up 10 days ago and just booked our first trip... to LA tomorrow for dinner.
Denver (APA) to LA (VNY) on a beautiful midsize Hawker 800 XP. Total cost $8.

We were not charged for internet either. The $12 for the 3 of us finally hit my CC. No hidden charges! ^

I am leaving Denver tonight but I saw that flight. Was in the process of seeing if I could book a LAX to Miami instead and when I went back it was gonw!! I am assuming you snagged it! haha

In the end, I needed to be in Miami earlier. But enjoy!
