Flight Changes
Many changes have been made due to Etihad schedule changes. In some cases, connecting flights are being swapped to nonstops. Some have been able to get this changed back by calling Etihad, others have not. You may have to repeat call / HUCA to get it switched back.

The U.S. Preclearance at AUH is not an ideal system. I would much rather land and have to clear in the United States. Many Etihad flights are being delayed due to preclearance taking so long. That is one reason why India just rejected having U.S. preclearance there and why Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker says they will not have it in Doha.
But we passengers have no choice
I can only hope Global Entry make things easier

I have couple of questions related to the JFK-AUH part of the flight
1. Since the flight gets in at 7:30pm, will I have enough time to get to the Grand Mosque which closes at 10:00pm? How long did it take for everyone to get out of the custom and the airport?
2. My connecting flight from JFK back to SFO only has about 2 hours after I land. Will there be enough time consider I have to go through custom in JFK again (although I heard we will go through custom in AUH ahead of time).

On my flight to JNB - I still have the JFK-CDG leg on AA.
on the EY website, it says I am confirmed in seat 24C on that flight.
when I plug the info into AA's website however, it shows me as not having a seat assigned and mainly offers the better Y seats for over $100.
doe anyone know which it is? I really don't want to sit in a middle seat on an overnight flight to Europe ...

All my flights for my trip are on Jet Airways metal, so I'm glad to hear that. I was kind of disappointed I wouldn't get to try out a real Etihad flight, but on the plus side, being on Jet metal made me not bid for an upgrade to business class on the JFK-AUH leg since I don't want to spend the $$ on a non-Etihad plane.

We fly next week on Jet plane and did bid -- I want a lie flat seat, no matter what metal I am on when it's 13 hours and overnight.

All I have credited is 3,436 for my one way, but it should be 10,308? This was the fare class that earned .5 but should be 1.5 / mile flown after the bonus? Thank you!

on the EY website, it says I am confirmed in seat 24C on that flight.
when I plug the info into AA's website however, it shows me as not having a seat assigned and mainly offers the better Y seats for over $100.

Just show up on time and try to get into the best seat you can with the gate agent. The ticket counter couldn't even confirm our seats. We were given seats right before take off and the last row. Can't complain though for a $200 ticket to Dublin.

How far in Advance should I plan on arriving at JFK for my flight, given there is no pre check, etc? 2 hrs? 3? Trying to not spend too much time there as I don't have any lounge access in that terminal.

I just flew ORD-DUB AA on this glitch on Tuesday. I also picked out our seats

Even if you can't access the reservation on AA.com I would try and call in, I'd hate to wait until I get to the gate agent.

Waiting in the admirals club for my flight from bos-ord. I am supposed to land at 11 and my connecting etihad flight is scheduled to leave at 1:05. Changing terminals shouldn't be an issue but it says I have to have checked baggage in by 90 mins before (it's always carry on but with their absurd 7 kilo limit I'm guessing they will make me check it) I think I will see if AA will check it through to auh for me to remove the worry as I'm already checked in with etihad.
