Turnaround in China
Has anyone done a mileage run with a same day turnaround in Shanghai? If all goes as planned I will have a new ten-year Chinese visa. My understanding is that I have to go out through customs and come back in again. Although I have done this in other countries, for some reason I feel very nervous about doing it in China. Does anyone have any experience doing this?

Never done an immediate turn, but I've gone through customs 3 times at PVG.
Twice it took about 30-40 minutes. The other time, over an hour. Just give yourself enough time and you should be fine, and don't look suspicious or they'll pull you out of the herd of people shuffling through customs. (if it's still the same as when I went there a year ago)
