Need 7001 miles on United
I know, it's a lot! First time mileage run; a friend recommended this forum.
I'm in EUG. Will go anywhere, from November 30-December 31 except December 10-13 (when I will be in Managua; RT already ticketed). Cheap ideas? Will be most grateful!

If you currently have UA status (silver or above) and therefore earn a minimum of 500 miles per flight, you can go to LIH or HNL, routed via SFO and LAX. For example, EUG-SFO-LAX-LIH-LAX-SFO-EUG same day return 12/3 is $480, 7230 miles with 500 mile minimum. HNL is the same price, a bit less miles.

Uh-oh ... I see on my United app that I'm at $4117 "qualifying dollars." What even are those? I sure spent more than that on my UAL credit card this year. Time to google...
