Btw, I'm now seeing an error when trying to reserve another one in December -- after selecting flights, when I click "next", I get a message in a red box saying "Error. Desafortunadamente, el sistema no puede verificar su seleccion. Intente nuevamente." ("Unfortunately, the system can't verify your selection. Try again.")

Arguably off-topic, but I'm responding because most FT posts are: Maybe spend a few days on the coast in Vina del Mar or Valpairaso. Given the timing restrictions, one ought find pre-season rates in both places, I imagine. Or consider going to Mendoza before it gets really hot in January and February. Yeah, cue the annoying visa-fee pile-ons for most northern North Americans...

How easy is COPA to work with on SDC? I have a 14 hour layover in PTY that I would like to cut down if possible.

Just a recommendation for others with a nearly full day layover in PTY, aside from the canal, check out the Casco Viejo (the old town) as well. It's worth spending a few hours there.

Were you ever able to ticket anything Darren? I got the same error message, and my MEX-LIM itinerary reprices out to $487.
