(AA) Ideas for a SF-area segment run next week
Hi Flyertalk gurus,
I've just realized that in order to retain my American Airlines Exec Platinum status for next year, I'm going to need two more AA-metal segments to qualify (for a total of four). I have more than enough AA-code miles, by virtue of flying on code-share metal, but i'm going to have difficulty making this unless I can do a quick-turn segment run next week when I'm in the bay area (actually a little closer to OAK and SFO than San Jose, but I could do it if it makes sense).
1) If I do two more quick segments, in addition to an upcoming LAX-JFK round trip I'm taking later, that should suffice for the four segments, right?
2) Got any ideas on a low-cost, short-time run I could do from the bay area?
Any and all advice would be helpful! Thanks. I've now moved out of the country and if I can't get it next week (starting Monday September 22, ending Friday September 26), I'm smushed.

Since this has to to with mileage/segment runs, I'll move it over to the mileage run-->discussion forum.
Thanks.

sfo-lax is what I found too
really shocked how few flights AA has out of SFO! Thank you for helping; can't find anything yet that beats that price
