Confirm your Tickets
MH and Cheaptickets are canceling these reservations. DO NOT ACCEPT a refund and they will rebook you.
As reported by JCM9608 it appears that some of these tickets or segments may be getting canceled. If your itinerary pops up on the flymas.mobi site then you're probably okay. If not, call cheapticekts and speak with them. They must honor the ticket, so don't take "No" or "We'll send you a refund" as an answer. You may need to speak to a manager / supervisor.
Multiple reports in this thread indicate that cheaptickets/MH will book you on a flight combination (possibly with a connection in NRT) if you push and don't accept a refund.
Booking
It has been reported that this books at Cheaptickets and Orbitz. Having problems viewing your ticket? Visit the FlyMAS Mobile Site and enter your information.
Routing
This fare appears to be eligable for End-on-End construction, so it should be possible to book cheap(ish) AA or US fares and tack them onto the ticket. In order to get to and from SFO.
Mileage Accrual
This fare is a Malaysian (MH) codeshare on Cathay (CX) metal.
Cathay: No mileage accrual
Malaysian: 70% mileage accrual
American: 50% mileage accrual
US Airways: 50% mileage accrual
And remember, DON'T CALL THE AIRLINES while a deal is ongoing.

The mileage was too low for me to justify buying this. I don't need to visit Hong Kong another time.. even at 5.8 cpm/2.9 rdm. Don't even like Hong Kong.
Only a good deal for non-elite flyers and people just looking for a cheap fare regardless of miles.
Or maybe I'm trying to just make myself feel better for canceling it.. still double-guessing myself, only because it's CX. But still, it's just CX Y... but the F lounge is nice...

...but I just can't pull the trigger on a super-long-haul flight in Y. I've made this trip many times in CX F and in CX J, but at this point in my life, my maximum tolerance in Y is 11-12 hours, and the outbound flight exceeds that by a few.
I might have been able to convince myself if the codeshare earned 100% on AA -- it would be my EXP-qualifying trip -- but with this trip earning only 50% on AA, I can't even use that excuse.
Great fare for those who are looking only for a visit to Hong Kong!
ETA: I was able to convince myself (for better or worse) that I could tolerate such a long flight in Y and booked it. Thanks to the OP!

I don't think this is a mistake fare. A lot of those cheap MH fares have been showing up on various cites the last few weeks. I think a week or two ago they had a cheap fare on AA DFW-HKG.

I have two questions can some one please help.
1. Shall we check in at the CX counter or the MH counter at the airport?
2. Where can I see the booking class? Just booked at cheaptickets.com

Please, do not contact/call the airline directly!
Dates in Sep-Oct. Books through MH but flights are CX metal. Outstanding fare from SFO-HKG. Doesnt look like a min stay requirement. Can book using cheaptickets/external travel site as it looks like this may be MH IT related.
It looks like S Class accrues .5 on AA (.076 cpm) , but I am not sure about how this fare posts/accrues to other airlines. Thats why it's here in MR, mods and you guys can decide how to handle.
As a *A guy, I dont know OW fare rules, but HKG for $500 is a great find.
Prices about $1K higher through CX directly.
Enjoy!
