AA 7k out of SJU
So, i'm about 7k away from requalifying, but due to a change in my work travel (used to travel to MIA/JFK - now traveling to PTY/BOG), I won't likely fly another 7k on AA/OW for the rest of the year.
Any suggestions? I was thinking one round trip west coast run.

I see SJU-MIA-LAX-LAS-MIA-SJU for $458 in Aug.
Not sure if you get a 500min credit for a short leg (LAX-LAS) but if you do, that is a shade over 7K.
Also see SJU-MIA-SFO-MIA-SJU 7,200mi for $399.

I just booked a quick day trip to MIA to visit some friends, as well as my thanksgiving tickets, whose return flight is on AA (departure on WN.. it's thanksgiving, I fly as cheap as possible that day), so now all I'll need is about 4k.
Maybe I'll go to DEN to get some... beer.

Booked for this weekend SJU-CLT-FLL-CLT-SJU on US. 4200 miles for $334. Not bad for booking the day before, and I always have a good time in South Florida.
