hnl milage runs

1) Mileage runnings with UA are dead from Hawaii starting next year, due to changes in the program.
2) Asia prices on UA are often not mileage run material.
3) your best bet would be a decent fare to mainland, which doesn't happen often recently due to high demand. Maybe they will come in August.

Overall, this is a bad time to stay MR, especially hawaii.

HNL-BQN in first/business is $1377, about 20700 miles with 50% class of service bonus. Available many days, for example fly 8/29 return 8/31. HNL-POS in first/business is $1317, about 21500 miles with 50% class of service bonus, for example fly 8/22 return 8/25. Middle east destinations like KWI, DOH, ABU, BAH. DXB in coach, also IST in coach can also offer a lot of miles for a reasonable price.

Hi -

I know that AA has some great Business Fares HNL-SJU. 8500EQM each way, plus COS bonus. Perhaps UA is matching.

Keep an eye out for Trans-Atlantic fare errors on United...sometimes HNL is a valid origin point even though you're obviously far away from the mainland...and from Europe.

I was able to pick up some $500 round-trip base fare business class tickets to Europe on United from HNL for this summer based on their P Fare Error they had a few months ago. Easy way to get lots of miles for little cash in the premium cabin. They pop up maybe 1-2x/yr...so you need to be lucky.
