Just got that for 4/15 . Wouldn't price with the return YYZ-ORD-BOS that ITA is showing up but grabbed the one-way and will figure out the rest later.

Looks like it flew away already for April, but I was able to book 5/14 and 5/28.

Same flight in and out??… I hope you have NEXUS and Global Entry… upon landing in YYZ, you will clear immigration and customs, and then need to go back and clear US customs and immigration… 1 hour might be tough!!

If you are not afraid of hidden city ticketing, go this route...

ORD-West coast-DFW-NYC-YYZ for $115
NYC-DFW-West coast-ORD-YYZ for $103

just drop all the YYZ legs, run this like a ORD-NYC and you never pay the canadian departure tax

Immigration, you do realize Canada is a Sovereign country right?
You haven't quite Annexed us yet...
Hope you have a passport, otherwise might need to run to the Passport Office
Don't worry no need to worry about the 6 month rule though.
We welcome you to your short visit to the Great White North and for contributing to the Canadian Tax Base
Universal Health Care for all
and for CTA fighting LX in court.

Booking the same flight in/out is not very smart and i'll explain why below as a former YYZ based AAer

The Mainline flight especially the DFW flight park out at the end of B gates (US departure), Gate A15-19

Timeline
Get off at A15-19, walk to immigration, (7-10 mins)
Canadian immigration (nexus 2 mins, non-expedited 2-60 mins)
Proceed immigration, through baggage claim to customs exit (4 mins)
Customs exit to US departure, which is now the far end of the check-in area (5-7 mins)
US CBP (nexus 2 mins, non-expedited 5-god know's how long)
Security (1-30 mins)
Security back to gate (5 mins)

In a very optimal situation, you're talking 26 minutes minimum not adding any delays what so ever and don't forget 15 min boarding cut-off.

The Eagle Pen/Gate A9 wouldn't be alot better since Eagle usually come in slightly late and they turn them in 20-25 minutes to catch up time

AA Int'l Check-in is 1 hour prior so better get someone to check you in a station beforehand too

To my knowledge, you 99.9 percent can't do a same plane turn in YYZ, the AAngel might be able to figure out a way, can't remember if they did that for someone before, but it would be their A$$ on the line so why would they do it

jfkeze, With Nexus would be tough, playing with fire while sprinting like the next Usain Bolt.
Without Nexus, go buy a lottery ticket or pray the GA let's you stay onboard

Pretty sure you pay for the Departure tax up front in your ticket...

Pardon my ignorance, but how are y'all pulling up these fares? Are y'all using the multi-city search on ITA and then just plugging in random dates with the "+/- 2 days" option?

Not true, if my two routings booked as one-way will not have any yyz departing flight. No departure tax or immigration fees.

After checking this morning, it appears ITA doesn't often display the fare. I booked a one-way on AA.com JFK-LAX-DFW-YYZ $98.03. Wouldn't even show on ITA. I used trial and error. Maybe one of the OTA fare calendars works?

You are correct. I misread

Forgot there is not an actual Canada departure tax. Just Sales tax, Airport Improvement fees, and Air Security Charge. Canada doesn't charge any immigration or customs fees either. Bulk of the taxes and fees on the same routing outbound from YYZ appear US initiated

Not many here are gonna force-feed you the dates.
Trial and Error, and be creative
and read the PM i sent you like eons ago (calculated in MR forum time), it specifically tells you how to search it and book it.

People won't give you the fish here, they will try to teach you how to fish
