I combined two transcons on this fare with a Delta Gold Challenge, based on my 2013 UA Gold status (from miles flown in 2012).

Now I have Delta Gold until Feb 2016 for a cash outlay of ~$160.

successfully flew SMF-EWR a few weeks ago, doing SMF-BTV in a couple of weeks, which were tickets we needed...both in whY (F wasn't available on these routings)

due to wife's work, we had to cancel the "fun" trip, which was to be SMF-KOA in F

these contributed nicely to our AS MVP requalifications. i'll make gold for about $2000 out of pocket.

I am trying to do the same. I just signed up for the challenge two days ago. Should have done it earlier. My flight today may not make the challenge total. Flying JFK-LAX-HNL lie flat 767-300

I've got one of these tickets coming up in about a week.... but I won't be able to fly it. Booked through Expedia.ca in A-class.

Does anybody know if anything can be done except just not showing up. If I look at the fare restrictions there seems to be a change fee of $200?

Aside from the change fee, you'd have to pay the fare difference if you havn't flown at least one segment.

Schedule changes have been within 30minutes, and it's CAD 80. A shame but I'll think I'll let it go.

Got my last trip from this coming up. I think its got to be one of the last ones booked with these mistakes, I literally went out as far as DL would let me and booked the fam a trip to Hawaii =)

We flew our last (7th) yesterday. All together we came out ahead $1100 due to 3 bumps on 3rd and 4th itins.
