No visa required
60 hours @PVG; transit via third country.
Arrive Fri. evening, depart Mon. morning.
PHL-DFW-ORD-PVG-NRT-DFW-PHL, $478.
One JL segment, so you can't hold it, but still...

My question is, with the 72-hour Visa-Free travel: if you go on to a third country can you come back to Beijing to leave back to the US (within 5-6 days after you initially came in Beijing)

You should be able to go, say, USA-PEK-XXX-PEK-USA, as long as each PEK stop is <72 hours.

thanks OP for such a great deal!
I have a question..i am based in dfw...my outbound flight is phl-ord-pvg with long layover in ord. My inbound is pvg-ord-phl with long layover in ord again...I don't want to stay over night in ord when I am back and plan to ditch the segment from ord to phl the next morning and fly straight from ord to dfw instead...I have done that with domestic flights...I don't know how it works with international flight if I don't fly to my final destination...giving custom and what not...Please advise...thanks
