Smile Flying my last segment run to gain silver on US: ORD-PHX-ABQ-PHX-ORD this saturday

Hello All,

I have had a 100% upgrade success rate on all my segment runs out of ORD so far on US. I have seen so much of PHL airport it is starting to seem like my home airport (way better than ORD). I am doing my last SR this saturday for $142 to fly to ABQ and back and I was upgraded on all those flights as well.

If anyone has a recommendation of what to eat at PHX or ABQ please let me know ! Thanks for all the help so far.

That you think so highly of PHL attests to how bad ORD is. PHL is by far the worst airport in the Northeast.

Food at PHL:

Whenever I want a sandwich at PHL I get a croissant turkey club at Au Bon Pain, just inside Terminal C security on the left. Write it out on the order tablets and pick out a croissant (from the bins on the other side of the store from the sandwich bar).

You must be speaking of delays or something other than what the OP was talking about. PHL is not even close to being "the worst airport in the Northeast." Have you not been to LGA? PHL, besides the delays and the weak RCC, is a great place to spend a little time.

I meant the delays. I fly there weekly. LGA is horrible too, however, I have driven or taken the train home from PHL more times than I can count because of cancellations and delays. If someone spits in NJ, there's a weather delay in PHL.

LGA/JFK are both horrible. It seems a drop of water falls and they both shut down.

ahem http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/20...at-kennedy/?hp

PHL was a fairly decent place to wander around in and even though the cheesesteak was pretty bad in the food court, they had a little wine shop where the sandwhich and wine pairing was good.

I just came back from PHX airport and that was a let down, its a huge place but no real bookstore and nothing decent to eat. By contrast ABQ had a good joint where I got an awesome green chile bacon sandwhich and chicken soup.
