DL:fll-jfk-sea-jfk-fll $220 ai

just got this for 12/3-12/6. Came out to 6,966 miles at 3.16cpm. Then had to add on the atl-fll-atl legs for another $183 raising it to 4.97cpm. Not found anything better on DL out of ATL and need the miles before the end of the year.

I just priced this as a multi-city including ATL. The total comes to $383.59 AI. Did you do 2 separate tickets? Doing it as one will save you a little money.

Not to mention minimizing your exposure to risk is everything goes to hell in a hand basket...

With two separate tickets, if the ATL-FLL on the outbound, or the JFK-FLL on the inbound is late, you're on the hook for missing the connection, not Delta.

i could never get the jfk connection flights to show up in the multi-city option - either on delta.com or on nwa.com

Just completed sfo-jfk-fll-jfk-sfo this past weekend. Had to do the same thing and purchase this one on DL and a sea-sfo-sea ticket separately on AS because it would not fly us thru jfk using multi city. Well...and AS was only 100 ai rt sea/sfo. 8612 eqms and well worth it, but I am sure beat at the office this week. First ever mr.

That's strange. I have no problem pulling this up as one itinerary...as long as I choose the 7:30am flight out of ATL and the 6:15am flight out of SEA. The total has even gone down to $368.60.

aha - see where i went wrong now. i was using the 4 legs display that pops up and was asking for atl-fll-sea-fll-atl and hoping to find the jfk 1-stop as an option. i now realize i could have added another couple of legs, and asked for every stop individually. lesson learned for next time! and yes atl-fll went on sale for this afternoon until midnight tonight on some flights.

I've always wondered about this. Don't you think Delta would work with you in this case?

It was very interesting and I learned a few things. It's a great way to get caught up on reading and finish a few knitting projects. Also, airport food gets old quick and mr's in F are much nicer than in coach. (Felt pretty lucky to get upgraded as a DL silver on 3 of the 4 segments)

I do chuckle a little...when I found this site a couple of years ago and read about mileage runs, I remember thinking how absolutely mad it all sounded...now, I have apparently been assimilated. I still don't believe I flew that many miles in 2 1/2 days.
