That's an astonishing fare -- probably the best Central America fare since last year's AA BZE extravaganza!

But a couple things to keep in mind. The situation in Honduras is tense right now as they determine the status of the ousted president -- and since the US is trying to get the ousted leader back in power, it may not be the best time for an American to visit the country. My recollection is that they have also closed the airports a couple times as part of an overall curfew.

And there's always the issue of SAP. Near some nice destinations but, by all accounts, not itself a great place to visit.

You might want to check out some recent news. Honduras isn't that stable right now, so be careful.
