This fare is also available going the opposite direction (SEA-MKE). However, Fri departures bump it up to $251. If you fly out on Thurs or Sat the fare is $209.

I haven't played with routings yet to see if you can be creative with connection points for extra miles (e.g. ATL or JFK or MEM).

I found this Sept 5-7:

SEA-LAX NW Codeshare operated by AS
LAX-MKE NW
MKE-IAH CO
IAH-SEA CO

$168.02+39.40=$207.42

Total 5568 miles [0.03725]

If crediting to NW or DL you only earn 50% EQM on the CO segments. And I believe CO will only earn 50% on the NW segments.

So it's not going to be 5568 EQM miles in any program. Am I wrong?

The MKE-SEA went to $219, which is still good, but the MKE/LAX flight is $210, direct, and gives an extra 100 miles as an FYI... all via NWA site with a couple dates around Labor day showing as of 3 pm India time on Tuesday.

That doesn't make sense.

MKE-LAX direct is 1,756 miles.

MKE-SEA via MSP is 500 + 1399 = 1,899 miles.

I haven't checked to see if you can route this via MEM or DTW for even more miles.
