AA: JFK-GIG 348'ish ai QL07BR3
Minimum stay of 3 days or Saturday night. Seems to be good for departures through Dec 10.
ITA is showing more availability than aa.com... perhaps one of the booking engines will match ITA?
I haven't played much with routings... I think a straight JFK-GIG-JFK may be available for $333 ai.
Thanks for FareCompare for this one.

Great find. Thanks for posting!
But just a reminder that Q fares are not upgradeable with SWUs.

If you find availability, this can be bounced through SJU.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the cheapest Northeast to Rio fare I've ever seen from the Northeast (and perhaps from anywhere in the US!).
I'm already overbooked for this time period, and I usually BURN AA miles to deep S.A. (40,000 in coach in the fall, a good deal). But if you've got the time, want to pay, and want to hit Rio, it seems an unbeatable deal.

One could also do the following routing
LGA-DFW-GRU-GIG-GRU-LGA
for $380 all in with 14,000 EQM - <.03 per EQM.
Thanks to OP for posting this.

Yes, and usually with a 10-day waiting period. It's a PITA.

I got JFK/TPA/MIA/GIG and GIG/MIA/JFK for $362 ai. Q fare stinks, no SWU use but for this cpm I think that I can deal with Y for the MIA/GIG portion. And a couple days in Ipanema will help me to forget!

Has anyone called AA to see how much it would be to move up to an upgradable fare?
