I'm not sure what AA is doing with this one, but they just dropped the price to $200+ ($292 all in for the straight JFK-GIG-JFK route.) Fare is theoretically available for Aug - Dec 11, in Q. ITA found plenty of availability in September.

I don't think I've ever seen a sub-$300 Rio ticket from NY before...

Just noticed this, myself. And even better news is that an N fare is just a little bit higher if you want to upgrade....

I cannot believe thattttt! Pay 40$ more! Q class one way started from 120$, raised to 140$ and dropped back to 120$. Right now it dropped another 20$ to 100$ one way. Are they crazy?

Which is a clear indication that to maximize visa value, you better buy several trips.

This is great. I almost booked for $333. Keep putting my reservation on hold every 24 hours for a few days now. Also it's $1875 in business class.

this is insane.. I have never seen fares this low to rio.. I have 7 booked so far. None of my routings ended up being cheaper though. While an outbound may have dropped to 100, the return ended up being a lot more, or vice versa.

I am green with envy. It costs more to do the ICT-JFK leg than the JFK-GIG, so multiple weekend getaways are out for me.
