NW: LAX-MNL $643 a.i. through Nov

NWA.COM. K-class. Not very good availability, but for example, 9/24 to Oct 1.

Ah back in the day, the redtail faithful would already have booked this one so heavily that K would be zeroed out before it hit FT Now, I'll wait and see if CO - or UA - fight back.

AS from LAX to PDX, DL from PDX-NRT, then NW NRT-MNL and on the reverse legs (MNL-NRT/NRT-LAX).

I don't get what's so special about a K fare? Just the fact that it's cheap?

How can UA fight back they don't fly to MNL.

Lack of clarity in my post. I meant, UA/StarA combo. Involving CO. For instance, searching CO.COM for future Asia itins now brings up NH/UA connectors ex-US through NRT to BKK, TPE, SIN etc.

Neither NH flies to Manila. Only possible A* codeshare flights for UA will be on OZ, TG and SQ with connections in ICN, BKK and SIN respectively.
