I'm in Taiwan now, Keelung on the north coast, having comleted the outbound on this trip. 24,667 eqms are posted -- the return will net a few more since I'm routed through HNL. Great food in Taiwan -- had some really fresh oysters and clams today at a fish market restaurant on Heping Island in Keelung.
Used PK503s to upgrade but couldn't confirm on NW 21 NRT-TPE. The upgrade phantom smiled on me at NRT on Tuesday and I got the last seat in the front.
Thanks again to dhh1 for finding this for us all.

Just need a confirmation before i do this crazy trip.. I'll be heading over to the US for my masters, so the status and miles as well as the upgrades would be useful.

Can anyone confirm if i will really get 73050 Miles for flying these legs? My last flight departs @ 6:45PM on June 14. The promo ends on June 15.
You definitely should. Flights are always credited for their date of departure. Additionally, the promo would technically end on 11:59PM on June 15 anyways, so you'll be fine.

It depends on fare class too..make sure M or above to get triple miles.
What I Did on my... [Spring Vacation] ... er... Trip to SIN
In a nutshell, the trip was awesome!
--All NWA flights were on time and the food and service was great.
--The upper deck of the 747 is a pretty good ride... it's intimate. There were only 6 of us up there NRT-DTW, so it was almost like a charter flight!
--The Transit hotel [arrival night] was clean, modern, and a good deal at SD$58.
--The Conrad was definitely worth the extra bucks, and affordable at half off. Thanks to the OP who recommended it.
Other notes:
--Our DTW-NRT flight was boarded for thermal scans; 1.5 hour delay deplaning.
--Security in SIN is unbelievably tight compared to home. They confiscated my cuticle scissors, something that's no big deal to carry in the USA.
--The World Club in NRT is lovely and the food is great, but IMHO, you can't beat the service orientation of the NWA club staff members here at home!
But best of all, GES123 and I met on the flight to SIN and toured around together on Saturday. Having been to SIN before, she served as a great and fun tour guide!
I arrived home in CLE early on Sunday night, and all miles were posted as expected by Tuesday.
Were this opportunity available next year, I'd do it again... in a New York minute!
Thanks to all who contributed suggestions and feedback to make this possible for each of us, and to NWA for the opportunity.
I'm about to leave in a couple days on my run DSM-MSP-HNL-NRT-SIN-NRT-HNL-PDX-MSP-DSM. Booked in M, upgraded with PU503 certs the whole way.
Does anyone know if changes are permitted on these fares and booking classes without a fee? I'd like to make a minor change involving one segment but reading the rules I can't figure it out. I would not be changing the travel day or destination, just a different flight and time. Probably would waste of PU503 cert but that's not a big deal to me. But change fees??

I know that you can cancel a M fare with a $150 penalty - I think I recall that when I booked my flights I asked and because of the fare class there wasn't a fee for changes but then again I could be wrong.... call the Elite desk and if you don't like the answer call again and get a different person. Have a safe trip

You would have to look at the specific rules of the fare you purchased. You should be able to do that by pulling up your receipt on nwa.com (click on the ticket number in your reservation). I believe most M fares are refundable but there is a penalty.
As for the PU503 cert, you don't lose it if you make a change. If there is U space available on the new flight they can upgrade you without burning another cert. If you completely cancel the flight you lose the cert.

The M class fare that I purchased, with the PU503 cert applied, results in an M subclass that requires a $250 change fee. This was also confirmed by elite services. Guess I won't be changing my ticket!

Thanks to dhh1. I decided to hit this one up before the promo ended and will be heading over this weekend for a few days. I couldn't run and run back, for the time and cost I had to stay couple days. I like many others am using the PU503s and will be enjoying the A330s in WBC. It is WBC til I die..BE can take a hike.
