UA: IAD-JFK-SFO-LAX-2 stops-IAD $246

on ITA, found several nice circle trips on UA starting from IAD, mid-March. Myself, booked:

IAD-JFK-SFO-LAX-DEN-IAH-IAD for $246.10
6500 miles w/500 mi/minimum for elites

many other returns avail, such as LAX-SLC-DEN-IAD, LAX-SAN-DEN-IAD, LAX-LAS-ORD-IAD, etc.

I used IAD::JFK UA UA+
LAX::UA UA UA+ on ITA to find it, with 0 nights (same day return wouldn't bring up any for some reason)

I see the one you mention for $246. However, they are all mid-week. Wouldn't work for me. Good look though.

Thanks for the ITA query tip. I always like the creative ways for ITA queries.

I noticed that ITA fluke last weekend: Why don't you get the same ITA search results with 0 nights as with same day? I was going to put up a notice then, but I didn't know where to post it. And I'm afraid to post something in the wrong category. :-)

I inquired about this when ITA first released this feature...but it basically works out to:

Same-Day trip does NOT include Red-Eye flights; The flights will get back to the origin on the same calendar date (although, I just saw one exception)

0-Night trips do include Red-Eye flights; However, as their name states - will not force travellers to get a hotel room...

At least that's what I can make from it
