Seconded.

Back OT, if I book SFO-JFK-LAX-SFO, since there's no backtracking could this possibly be UG'ed with 1 CR-1?

Man this one is tempting as ex-NYC MRs have been slim pickings lately. Not to mention that I'm suffering .bomb withdrawal as it's been several months since Iast booked a MR for 2009

Then again, for a couple hundred more I could more than double my miles by continuing on to HNL

decisions....decisions...

If it's a quick turn (less than 4 hours) and you OLCI, it may let you get away with upgrading SFO-JFK-LAX on one CR-1 (or even one e-500 if you go that route).

Thanks. One of the few times that UA's glitches could come in handy...

shhhhhhhhhh! If you talk about it, they might actually make an effort to fix the only benefit the .bomb offers.

Wow, a lot of 2/14 MRs in the works... MY SO loves me, and certainly appreciated all of the C/F travel we've done because of my MRs, but I think I'd be finished if I actually flew on the 14th .

I was thinking the same thing . I definitely wouldn't be alive if I decided to be gone on v-day for anything but a serious emergency...

I'll be flying on 2/18 (I couldn't justify Valentine's Day to Mrs. gre), IAD-SFO and LAX-IAD, anyone else?

I have come up with a combination of routings. Total will be around $267 with between 6.5K-7K EQM, which comes down to approx. 4cpm. Not the best buy, but a good buy considering the crazy JFK UA fares that we have been seeing.

I am going to use ITA query language to save you some time:
outgoing --
1. JFK::UA IAD UA LAX UA (3288 EQM)or
2. JFK::UA IAD UA SEA UA (3484 EQM)

incoming --
3. SFO::UA SEA UA IAD UA (3484 EQM) or
4. SFO::UA EWR UA IAD UA (3565 EQM)

I see some availability in Jan. and Feb. Some one weekend and some on weekdays. I may do Jan. 31st.

Combining 2+4 will give more than 7K EQM, but will return in the afternoon on the next day. Choosing 3. as return will get you back to JFK around 9am the next day.

If you are 1P and above, then that is 2 cents per RDM.

This is great - was looking to do a SFO-LAX-SFO run to get some custom ski boots fitted. Now for twice the price (249 ai) It is SFO-LAX-JFK-SFO. Although it might not count as a pure MR since I actually have an objective in LAX, and not just flying purely for the miles. Booked Feb 3 UA931 & 82 (although I will use same day confirmed to go down around noon to do my fitting). and Feb 4 UA7.

Edited to add: I forgot a credit voucher I had - got it down to $201!

Flying to LAX from SFO via JFK definitely counts as a MR!

Thumbs up Fare can be halved for 1 ways too

just an fyi, especially since these days most fares require r/ts.

especially handy if you have some valid ecerts to use for each leg
