Fare

Got in with a $29.50 ORD-SAN; but, lost the return. Fare went up $100 before I could lock in the return . . .

So, I just HAD to do SAN-IAD-MCO-IAD-ORD-MSN for $76.60 instead to get home

I was able to grab DEN-ORD r/t on Dec 5th for $124.80 ai. Using a $100 e-cert brought it down to $24.80 + $10 for cert on ebay.

1776 EQMs brings it down to .02 CPM.

What´s the easiest place to get these ecerts? I didn´t see anything on CC right away, and Buy It Now on eBay is at least $25.

I just bought 3 more today for $9.50 each on ebay. Do a search for "United e-cert".

Can anybody recommend a method to find base fares within certain price range in specific fare classes (the ones that the e-cert are eligible for). I´m doing it manually, and it´s very time consuming.

So will you rent a car and drive from MSN to Chicago or did you take the bus to ORD from Madison?

Absolutely. You should post the actual fare and then you can comment on your cpm based on using a coupon, but don't assume that everyone has such coupons available.

Mr

EWRsince89: In this case, I am taking the bus to ORD as my return flight: SAN-LAX-IAD-MCO-IAD-ORD-MSN, takes right home

TrojanHorse: These e-certs can be had easily on CC. A Marriott Gift card offer will score you several replies. Usually end up in the $10 each range.

For SFO/OAK based FT'ers, there looks to be tons of "L" availability for SFO-DFW in Dec., which has a o/w base fare of 101.39, great for the $100 e-certs. Even better is that these quick SFO-X-X-DFW turns can be done same day.
