I guess they didn't block the 3 cabins as aggresively as the ONT/TPA fare. I know 946-947 are blocked LAX-IAD-LAX.

I think its because it is in response to United's First Class airfare sale. Delta didn't originate the current sale.

First and Business NEVER earned triple (outside a promotion). F and J earn 150% miles and mqms.

I see from a current thread in the DL forum that the A/QUP fare does appear to earn 150% EQM during non-promotions.

The QUP is the fare basis, not the booking class. A is First class, no matter how you slice it, thus, you earn the same miles/mqms as a full fare first class ticket; 150%.
