"Good Deal" premium fares

First post in this forum, don't know if this is a good find or not (but I bought one, looked like a pretty good deal to me) . Found Friday dates in July...fare rules say good on outbound fares through Sept. 4th.

DXB-BKK on Gulf Air in the 777 lie flat business seats - $1179 many dates the rest of the summer and fall.

You can go with the new 1st Class Suites (which are like the Singapore A380 enclosures almost) for $2079!

Both route through Bahrain. Cheapest way to get to Bangkok in a premium cabin I have found in the middle east.

That is very good as long as there is availablity.

Somethign to keep in mind for the Gulf Air biz and first class seats on their 777 routes, these planes are on lease from Jet Airways and not renewed past Sept. Thus getting in on the Gulf Air routes have to be before Sept to enjoy the cabins at the very reasonable price.

Unusually low Summer fares to Europe are fairly common this year. NYC to MAD or BER are around $1,800 with DL, CO, US, LH, AA. They do start to sell out though. I found seats very easily 2 weeks ago, it's harder now.

Last time I had to go to London, earlier this month, I saw UA wanting long advance purchase again (40+ days) for Z -- on the tired, old configuration 777, non-upgradeable!

Ended up doing AC with flat beds trans-Atlantic and only 2 weeks APEX required.

I believe this is an O fare (fare basis OPR), which doesn't accrue miles.
If you want mileage, the D fare is $550 more.

Air China is also coming up at $1050RT for SVO-PEK. Not as nice, but a decent *A J fare.

My friend booked it 2 days before for EWR-LHR, and at the time, Z class was cheaper than Y. It's a no brainer.

There are some awesome fares on here... not really interested in a flight with crazy connections, but if you are, there are plenty of ways to get into first on 3-cabin planes through this deal.

More interesting to me, they have non-stop SFO-PHL for $839.20, SFO-EWR for $859.20, and maybe even SFO-PIT for $685.20.
