SFO - ATL can be routed thru IAD easily for just under 6000 miles RT.

I have not tried to get too fancy (yet) with the routings... I did try to force JFK (for PS in first) and got denied.
If anyone gets some twisted routings, I'd love to hear it.

One question about DEQM... How does it play out here?
Is it (2x BIS) + (cos), which would be 250%... or 2x (BIS + cos) which would be 300%?
Are these fares gone? All I can find is $1100
Any other ideas for a MR in F out of SFO?

long gone. they had them out of several cities in the midwest but the fares couldn't have been loaded for more than a couple of days. I was somewhat interested, thought about it for a few days and by the time I wanted to put an itin together they were all gone.

For the first time ever I would be able to buy/need a one way fare ex Asia.

Realizing the deal to YVR seems to be gone, is there anything else ?

I start in PEK but can book a feeder to any other Asian destination into my one way award ticket over there.

Thanks for any info, if you dont want to disclose it in public I would appreciate a PM.

Cheers,
S

Granted this is nowhere near PEK...The absolute cheapest thing that I know of still working is the NW C3 fare from CMB-YVR. Unfortunately it does not allow stops in SIN/BKK or NRT like the CSPL. Last I looked it is roughly US$800 one way, routes on UL for the first/last segment to/from either BKK or SIN and then all NW metal from there. Dushanthi at Carsons in CMB can issue this for you, PM if you want contact info.
If you want something closer to NAsia, I'd look at MNL, TPE or ICN, although it's going to be more than $800. I think Hainan had some cheapish fares via their PEK-SEA service, not sure if those were available one way though. Good luck.

Ex-SEL should be (relatively) cheap, given the weak position of the KRW.

TPE has some decent deals (about $1200-$1300 all in) all alliances.

MEX is also included in the AC sale. For those of us in the West, I found YEG-YVR-YYZ-MEX-YYZ-YVR-YEG for $1795 all-in July 10-13. By my math, approx 13,884 QM....not mileage run cheap, but not bad for all up front flying.

Thanks for all the helpful responses !

I actually found something that suits me from CMB as mentioned above.

Also I still have these NW eVouchers in my account so even a high eco fare would work.

Cheers,
S

DEAL OF THE DAY

New York (JFK) to London (LHR)

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class

USD 800 one-way
USD1900 round-trip

Book as CO codeshare flight in A inventory

Fare is certainly an error in that fare rules exclude VS-operated flights from EWR/IAD/BOS/ORD but forgot to mention JFK also excluded.

Deposit into bmi for about 6000 redeemable miles.

UA matched it Tuesday. Via IAD/FRA/MUC/ORD. Go LH because Z earns 200% into bmi on LH vs. only 100% on UA.
