stl-lhr next weekend for plt
I have almost convinced my self to do this. Hubby says have a good time. $556 (maybe a little less with ***** discount) What do you think? Any better ideas? Anybody want to go with me? Leave Sat. afternoon, back Sunday night. 3 hours at Heathrow.

Are you connecting to get to LHR or are you going nonstop to LGW? If you're doing this purely for the miles, check out a STL-LAX-LHR run. LAX-LHR is on sale for $325 (don't know if it's good for this weekend), and you'll get more miles and maybe a similar price if you tack on STL.
Regardless, if you make platinum on either segment, go to the Admirals Club at either LGW or LHR, (you'd qualify for entry if you're platinum but you may have to ask really nicely as they're sort of grumpy at Heathrow) and take a shower there. (Saw your post on AA!
