Best UA Runs out of IAD?

Looking to "top up" before Dec. 31st - from you experts out there, what are generally the best runs out of IAD (could do BWI if it was really worth it)? It looks like I'll need about 9,000 miles or so. Times, dates, and destinations are flexible!

Danski, I might be up for some runs on UA out of IAD/DCA/BWI as well so I'll be watching this thread. Maybe we'll cross paths.

Doh!

Watch the E-fares on the UAL website... there may be another fare similar to the $129 RT IAD--LHR of last week.

Scanning the current specials, you could do IAD--Sao Paolo for $359 RT plus tax--- but then you have to add on like $100 for a Brazil visa. $399 gets you from DC to Buenos Aires. Or, you could go to Taipei for $498-- the cheapest Asia deal.

If you'd asked this a day or two ago, there was a great IAD-OAK fare (TA7INZCV) that would easily give up over 7000 miles for less than $250 including all taxes. If it (or something similar) comes back, pounce!

E-Fares shows a $178 RT IAD--OAK fare for travel this weekend, out tomorrow and back Mon. or Tues. Nov. 4-5.

What would be a good routing to maximize IAD-OAK mileage (I'm not used to making runs from IAD even though I live here now!).

Try this:

http://digitalcity.com/washington/travel/deals.adp

It has more than UA as I use it for CO/NW but out of IAD most of the stuff is UA.

This should help

If it's air miles R/T you are referring to
it's only 4914 for BWI-SFO.

Something along the lines of IAD-JFK/EWR-SFO-LAX-OAK would put give you over 8000 miles for a roundtrip.

Is this trip within the $250 price previously
specified? If so, the flight nos. are appreciated. Thanks.

As previously indicated, the $250 fare is no longer available.
