BA European multi-tix discounts

Could be new, haven't seen this anywhere on the site yet. These deals seem to be made for mileage runs!

This does look interesting. They claim that these will book into either L or B fare class, so normal earnings are there.

There has to be a catch, I fear ...

I just emailed them to hear if there's a catch.
Will report back once I have an answer.
Thanks to OP for the find!

Enjoy the rides! I'm in the US, so I'll have to keep plugging away at AA for my TPs.

It's neither new nor particularly attractive as regards mileage running.

A true mileage run typically involves taking advantage of a limited offer. Buying multiple flights in advance for prices greater than the cheapest available fares on the route - and having to convert those coupons to tickets as much as 30 days before travel, and having to use all coupons within a fixed period - means that in most cases you pay more per trip than a mileage runner would, plus you get tied to having to use up all the coupons on a particular route.

It took several emails, but then they finally bothered to answer my questions and not just send me some canned response that wasn't related to what I asked about.

We would like to advise you that you can collect Avios and Tier Points in line with the Executive Club terms and conditions.

You can calculate how many Avios and Tier Points you'll be able to collect using our flight calculator.

Please note the standard Flight Pass is booked using "L" booking class; if you choose the Freedom Option, the Flight Pass is booked using "B" booking class. ( http://www.britishairways.com/travel...r/public/en_gb )

When you have booked your flights using your Flight Pass, please go to Manage My Booking on ba.com to add your Executive Club membership number to your booking so your Avios and Tier Points are added to your account. ( https://www.britishairways.com/trave...g/public/en_gb )
As for the international flights, the first flight needs to start in London. So if you buy a London-Germany package, you can't start in Germany.

It's been around for a couple of years. See the BA Forum thread for more details on booking classes and thus your earning rates.
