Yeah, pretty sure it's been dead for about a month.

I just booked this trip for Labor Day weekend. With a transcon (PVD-LAX) on either end. I'll be gone 5 days with only a single night in a hotel (in AKL).

I'm really hoping for at least one op-up during the trip. The AKL-HKG segments seem to be pretty full, so I'm hoping my lowly AA Plat status will give me something. I'm also traveling solo, though I don't know if that helps my chances any.

Still going strong. It's midweek stuff only out to April. $511 to $570. Books on AA's HK site. Example:

Also, $520 to IAD and can return thru DFW if you don't like the early morning LAX-HKG flight time.

$699 to BOS also.

Mods need to declare this fare gone and move it to discussion zone

Except it's not gone, so that would be premature. Different routing, same price.

I wonder if this is available ex-HKG around 16/17 Dec and via DCA instead of IAD for a little premium above $520. Thoughts???

$520 but Dec 13th or 25th. It's there, check on GF.

And, it's via NRT, like before. So definitely not an expired fare.
