Just 2 trips for SQ gold
This is tempting, I just can't imagine how I'd make it worth my while.
I had the same thought with the cheap EZE trip on AM.
My best thought was use miles to go YVR-HKG (or whatever)- BKK (stop) ICN (stop)(nest) GRU (nest) ICN-YVR. But I'd probably need 3 weeks off or at least 16-18 days to make it work I think. I've been to ICN, so I don't need much time there. But the travel time alone would be nuts.
It'd cost 90k miles + $300CAD, let's say, then another $1000 CAD ($707USD roughly). For a trip to BKK and GRU and ICN if wanted, while earning another 25,000 miles to my SQ account towards my 2018 renewal. Doesn't really seem doable I don't think, but maybe I'm missing something.
