Happy 2017!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.

AA has some great fares right now ORD-SAN in Jan. and early Feb. Fly out on a Saturday afternoon and come back Tuesday afternoon/evening for $119 RT (ends up being about 3.5 cpm). Not the best deal I've ever seen but great for a Winter getaway.

Currently the deal seems to be good for four long weekends: 1/13-1/16, 1/20-1/23, 1/27-1/30, or 2/3-2/6. Here is a sample: https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...2,SANORD0AA159

Seems like SAN-ORD is also available at $139 RT, or $119 RT if you're willing to do Wednesday through Saturday instead.

CLE - Europe (ZRH/DUS/FRA/VIE), as low as $452, ST, 1 stop. Availability starting in mid August and into 2018. Bookable on DL/KL/AF.com. Sample dates: 10/27 - 11/6 (CLE-ZRH). Lower prices possible on OTAs.

**Other destinations on sale, as well...not as well priced, including BRU, LUX, & MUC (sub $700).

**EDIT** Further price reduction on these destinations...ZRH now $432 on DL/KL/AF.com.

We so rarely get this type of int'l deal out of CLE. I would be booking the hell out of this as MQM runs, but it's got a six night minimum.

Midwest USA - Europe, low $400s, 2017-2018

CMH/CLE/CVG/DTW/CHI (and more) - Europe (AMS/FCO/CDG/NAP and more), starting in low $400s, ST/OW/*A, 1 stop. Availability starting mid August for some and late October for others. Further price reductions starting end of October, as well. Runs into 2018. Bookable on OTAs and alliance member websites.

Other destinations seen from some cities include ZRH/DUS/FRA/MUC/VIE/BRU/BCN/MAD/LON...

Looks like a sale across the board.

LH/UA DFW-CDG $451-$510 RT mid August thru March 2018

Found this on Google flights. DFW-CDG $451 - $510 RT mid August thru March 2018 LH/UA (and DL/AC for slightly more). Pretty good availability and seems to work all days of the week (perhaps a few $ more for weekends). For the dates I got in mid August it was about $1000 cheaper than anything offered by American.

Cheapest on AC but you can take United and connect through LHR or BRU etc for a few dollars more. Also saw some OS routings through VIE. Catch is it's a six night minimum, otherwise great mileage run.

Of course, from ORD you can always do SK PE for $919, an A fare vs the UA K fare. 1.5 PQM and 100% award miles. And, a comfortable seat that you won't get dragged out of nor have to sit with a 2 year old in your lap. (Unless you want to.)

Can't make it a "night in Lisbon" if the layover is from 5:50am until 9:35pm.

That is for E Fare on DL
