How risky is this deal?
Greetings everyone, long time lurker, first time poster here so please bear with my newbe-ish questions. 
So I bought this deal (CAN-LGW) as the middle segment of a round the world trip.
I'm calling on the "Travel Gods" of this forum: How risky is this deal?
I never heard of Deer Jet or TianJin airlines before. Are those reputable companies?
Will they honour this deal or will I get stuck in the middle of China having to spend hundreds of dollars extra to get back home?

For my booking CAN-CKG-LGW round trip, the Chinese airlines cancelled all but the first leg of my flight!
Now the itinerary became CAN-CKG one way!
I am OK if they don't have to honor a possible error fare and refund the whole damn thing but don't just cancel except one leg!
I need to talk to the OTA I booked for a refund.
For my booking CAN-CKG-LGW round trip, the Chinese airlines cancelled all but the first leg of my flight!
Now the itinerary became CAN-CKG one way!
I am OK if they don't have to honor a possible error fare and refund the whole damn thing but don't just cancel except one leg!
I need to talk to the OTA I booked for a refund.

Just received an email from the airline who told me to refund the original ticket and then rebook any airline on the same date to that destination. Send them screenshot and then difference of the price will be reimbursed.
Have you guys ever seen an airline would really do that? I mean aviation in China could be new... too new... for these guys to find a partner and load me into?
(moderator is this the right place to ask this question, if not, where?)
Also whenever airlines are booking flights for passengers are there always book into Y? I need to know as I am in quite the last month for my mile run - I need a Y for AA 1.0 EQM.
