[UA] Shanghai(PVG)-Santiago(SCL) 773$, 2.9 cpm
- example route: PVG-SFO-IAH-SCL-GRU-EWR-PVG, 26199 mi, 2.9 cpm

Not sure if it is an error of expedia but this fare is not available on United.com

Thank you, OP. It is actually 24,585 miles for $775 or 3.15 cpm, as far as MileagePlus earning is concerned. The SCL-GRU segment does not earn anything from UA. It is a pretty good price, after all. If you happen to be in Shanghai with one-way ticket and want to visit Santiago and then come back to Newark via Santiago (just drop the last segment). This is not a consolidator/bulk ticket, which means that you will earn PQM, PQD and RDM from United.
