(Ethiopian + TAM) - MXP/FCO - POA/BSB - 264 euros

Its floating on the blogs since yesterday, but I was hesitant to post it here, since I could not finish the booking on any OTA and did not want to raise any false hopes, But Today I was able to book on the Czech Gotogate OTA (cz.gotogate.com), still waiting for the ETIX,

Since it's O fare, it has 100% credit to A3, TK, AC and others

flying from either from MXP or FCO to either POA or BSB,

Departure should be on a friday, return on a Wednesday or Saturday

https://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/e...rlines/tam.jsp they do, 100% rdm, 50% eqm

Was $312 the final price?? what fare are the ticketed flights in?

That's 19k miles!!!! even with the lower EQM, it's hell of a deal (if plat/explat) on AA 38k RDM for $312 (less than a cent each!)

final price charged on my CC is 7419 CZK = 274 euros = 312 USD

All Segments are O Fare

FCO-ADD and ADD-GRU are on ET Metal, GRU-POA on JJ Metal

Except for the fact that the only flight you will be able to credit to AA is a short Brazilian domestic - other flights are marketed under ET.

And there isn't even a 100% elite bonus for JJ flights.

Not to mention that I am highly surprised by the OP versus the nature of this "deal". That does say a lot IMHO.

Been guilty of that myself, starting a topic after "a deal" was published on a blog. He maybe will learn that there is NEVER a good reason to (re)-post it, hopefully before all the flowers are gone. Let's face it, the discussion in another thread became way too open, mostly because people are spoon-fed and don't make their own effort, therefore not valuing the powerful weapon they are given. That's a sad thing recalling how much time I had to spend just to discover a simplest of deals.

please do tell your opinion, I dont mind accepting criticism if its well meant, especially the part of NEVER reposting.

I personally had deals posted in travel forums picked up by blogs... today it was the other way around,

Would you rather that I post it in the trick it thread? That would not make much sense, since it was already public...

And since it gives 100% credit in several programs, I consider it a decent mileage run

Why I won't create a topic with a clear trick anymore:
1. Even if it posted on the blog(-s), you don't know how much those blogs and their particular posts are read / followed. So, don't try to bring even more attention.
2. It brings more attention to the topic and an influx of people who are reluctant to make effort and want a free meal. This reflects on quality of discussion and early closure of some good deals.

You can decide to do otherwise, but be ready to be frown upon.

I see your point, but then, the thing is more about posting in the MR forum in general, rather then just about reposting from a blog? Since I would get the same heat anyway for this blog or no blog

I don't get the point of discussion here. Now we're not supposed to post as MRs self-dumping fares?!?!
