Wow, not seeing that until now. Looking into now...it's $150 less, doesn't require me to position to ORD, it's on the 787 vs non-retro 777 and it gives us an extra night and day in Tokyo. I get ~1,500 less EQMs but oh well. Plus the 5K bonus. I think I need to make the change now! Thanks JJsnyder!

Yep, booking 4/20 departure from LAX and return leaving HND on 4/25, landing in LAX 4/24. $436!

AA HND bonus does not apply here. It specifically excludes O fares, which is what this cheapie is.

Make sure your fare qualifies for the bonus. I checked LAX-HND for $436 and it was O which does NOT qualify for the bonus miles

If asking about LA one into HND only. This is link and must register. Complete travel by April 30, 2016. Only certain class and fare qualify. O fares won't get the bonus. https://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/newsOffers/lax-haneda.jsp
