UA/NH: NYC-CGK/MNL OJ $554 2.6cpm

Played around with this crazy routing, and found it available most days, even for short stays:

NYC-CGK / MNL-GUM-HNL-NYC

Few points:

Yes, you can route via the island hopper (I did, why not?)
Most legs on the return are RPU-able
You have to force the routing through GUM and HNL generally in order to price it out
Pay attention to the dates coming back, the date line can be confusing
Flights between CGK and MNL are ~$70 on a LCC

This is awesome! When I get in front of a computer I'll try to replicate, but with the island hopper eastbound.

I couldn't get the island hopper on google flights, had to force it on United.com with multi-city...

Generally prices the same as GUM-HNL direct

UA 154. An amazing experience to some of the most remote parts of the world, but also susceptible to lengthy delays. https://insideflyer.com/forums/threa...tkk-gum.49914/

Wow... that's a heck of a trip. Question for you... How do you get from Jakarta to Manila?

That's the easiest part i.e. $65.

Just study calendar and select what you want

for the same $554 using the above EWR example you can add an extra stop on the return in ORD, thus EWR-NRT-CGK-MNL-GUM-HNL-ORD-EWR.

Thats 22407 miles
