Happy 2016!

Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:
  • When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.
  • Note that you can subscribe to this thread: go to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread and click on "Subscribe to this thread".
  • This is not a fare request thread. Any fare requests will be deleted.

UA: BOS-PEK for $612 (BOS-SFO-PEK-IAD-BOS; ~16,000 miles), about 3.8 cpm. Wide availability. I guess that this is in response to Hainan Airlines BOS-PEK direct flight.

It could be a response, but it also seems like there are just a lot of really great PEK fares out there at the moment. ORD-PEK has been in the mid-500s for the last month or more on both AA and UA. Of course, this is an excellent fare, and well worth posting about.

Hainan Airlines also compete for ORD-PEK and SEA-PEK pax. This also explains the low fares on both AA and UA on those routes.

Seeing Jakarta-Vancouver rt for $648
Carrier: China Southern (CZ)

Price quite similar from April-July (or maybe more)

Booking class: T, unfortunately only 25% earning miles on Delta

Not really worth an MR I guess, but pretty solid fare.

DFW-LHR/CDG, non-stop, any time February, some march and january left, approximately $800 range. I travel the DFW-LHR route quite often, and it is hardly ever this cheap. Still expensive cpm, but a nice fare nonetheless.

Stops available. I was able to configure DFW-LAX-LHR-PHX-DFW for about $828, all AA flight numbers.

Great fare from pretty much anywhere in the US to LHR. Under 4 digits into LHR can prove to be a bit difficult these days if you aren't flexible.
