UA: Ewr-nrt-sin sin-nrt-ewr 20120 pqm $750

Just booked this last week for travel on Nov 7-9. 6 hours in Singapore before coming back. Painful but tough to beat the miles for the dollars. Originally i would do multiple round trips to LA or SFO, this just gets the pain out of the way in 1 shot

$701, $705 routing via ORD

I am seeing $701 on 12/01-12/03 & 12/08-12/10. Also can route via ORD for extra miles at $705.

Cheaper yes.. I believe this is a U fare, earning 50% PQM.

That paired with actually flying CA long haul? Scary Poppins for me.

UA: Ewr-nrt-sin sin-nrt-ewr 20120 pqm $750

I'm also doing this trip but on October 30 and also got a great deal. I did it same weekend last year. I never left the airport choosing to sleep in the lounge in Singapore given time of arrival but this time I'll have a little over 4 hrs each time in Tokyo and thinking of heading to the city of Narita. There isn't enough time to make it to Tokyo. Anyone else going last weekend of October?

I did this MR 3 years ago. I stayed at the Transit Hotel inside of security which has a 6 hour rate and a pool. It was closed 11pm-6am so I couldn't swim. There was also some sort of butterfly garden airside, Changi is often ranked among the best airports in the world, enjoy it and sleep on the flight back!!

Please keep us posted for your PQM earning.

I recently made a reservation for a one day round trip IAD -> SFO -> LAS -> SFO -> IAD, and found at UA website that only outbound legs would earn PQM. Then I canceled the reservation, and replaced with 2 one way reservations. Then UA website shows all legs will earn PQM. So, I really would like to know you will get PQM for all your legs. Thanks!

I haven't been keeping up as much as I used to...but why no PQMs on the return?

I don't know why, I just saw that.

Login at UA website with MileagePlus account, View Existing Reservation. In Traveler section, there is MileagePlus earnings section for each traveler. View MileagePlus earning information, I saw something like following:

Code:
                     PQM PQS
IAD - SFO 2,419 1
SFO - LAS 500 1

LAS - SFO Not Qualified 0
SFO - IAD Not Qualified 0

Total: 2,919 2
This is for existing premier gold member. The ticket is N class. Anyone know why the returning legs are not qualified for PQM?

I had the same issue when I booked this reservation. When I viewed the reservation under 'view' on the 'my reservations' page, it showed this:

Award miles PQM PQS PQD
Premier® Silver member 2,723 10,060 2 $389
EWR - NRT
1,820 6,732 1 $260
NRT - SIN
903 3,328 1 $129
SIN - NRT
Ineligible to accrue mileage or Premier qualifying credit.
NRT - EWR
Ineligible to accrue mileage or Premier qualifying credit.
Total: 2,723 10,060 2 $389

However, when I viewed the reservation under 'view receipt', it showed this:

Date Flight From/To Award Miles PQM PQS PQD
11/7/2015 79 Newark, NJ (EWR - Liberty)-Tokyo, Japan (NRT - Narita) 1820 6732 1 260
11/8/2015 803 Tokyo, Japan (NRT - Narita)-Singapore, Singapore (SIN) 903 3328 1 129
11/9/2015 804 Singapore, Singapore (SIN)-Tokyo, Japan (NRT - Narita) 581 3328 1 83
11/9/2015 78 Tokyo, Japan (NRT - Narita)-Newark, NJ (EWR - Liberty) 1169 6732 1 167
Award Miles PQM PQS PQD

I called the premier desk to verify that both the outbound and inbound legs qualified for PQM, and they said they did. I took a screenshot just to cover my bases.

I had a similar issue as the above situation. I booked a biz class round trip between Ewr and sfo. Called the premier line and they said they were having issues with the website and I should get appropriate credit all around. To cover my bases, took all screenshots along with copying the receipt page and noting reps I talked to. After taking the flight all the proper Pqm, pqs, and award miles were posted

Thanks for sharing.

UA website really has issues. I have a trip to LAS next January. On the View the Reservation Page, I see this
Award miles PQM PQS PQD
Premier® Silver member 1,239 5,200 4 $177
IAD - IAH 322 1,190 1 $46
IAH - LAS 329 1,222 1 $47
LAS - LAX 56 500 1 $8
LAX - IAD 532 2,288 1 $76
Total: 1,239 5,200 4 $177

But on the Receipt Page, I see this

Date Flight From/To Award Miles PQM PQS PQD
1/9/2016 484 Washington, DC (IAD - Dulles)-Houston, TX (IAH -Bush INTL) 0 0 1 0
1/9/2016 1770 Houston, TX (IAH -Bush INTL)-Las Vegas, NV (LAS) 0 0 1 0
1/12/2016 584 Las Vegas, NV (LAS)-Los Angeles, CA (LAX) 0 0 1 0
1/12/2016 411 Los Angeles, CA (LAX)-Washington, DC (IAD - Dulles) 0 0 1 0
Award Miles PQM PQS PQD
0 Ineligible 4 Ineligible

It seems we can not trust their website, better to call them
