UA/TK: SFO-IST-Europe RT: $700-$750
It seem Turkish Air really wants people on their new SFO-IST route. I have been looking from now through March and finding many different European cities for a low fare, as long as your first leg is SFO to IST, then from IST on to whatever city. I've checked various places in Europe it works to some major hubs, as well as Croatia, Spain, and even Casablanca Morocco. Try checking other Euro cities as well, and maybe other UA hubs besides SFO will have it, as long as TK flies the non-stop route from there. I am also assuming you can have a stopover in IST since they want you there anyways.
P.S. Economy only, higher class is normal price ($4K+)

I found a good price for LHR at $630 CAD, but the ITA website was crapping out on me. Zagreb and Belgrade didn't yield any good results both were over $1200 CAD. Gonna keep looking to see if I can find anything interesting
Edit: I'll take that back, website working better now, Zagreb down to $977 CAD on some days, Belgrade $955.

Searching ITA shows the cheap fare via TK, but it looks like getting this on 016 stock forces a Y fare, pricing out to >$9k in economy!
Has anyone actually been able to get this on a UA ticket? (I tried SFO-IST-CDG)

When I originally found this fare it was with ITA. I read the fare rules on ITA which said 1 free stopover. I don't know if they meant free to stop on IST either way, or free to stop anywhere 1 time along the route.

Bummer, I would've flown it on TK stock if it earned PQM.
