Delta has some great fares to Moscow for spring dates. This fare is available in the fall as well through November! I saw it for $489 from LAX, $379 from JFK, and $490 from BOS.

Booked LAX-LHR//SVO-LAX in March/April for $532. Not bad at all.

I tried Sept 3-Sept 7th ORD-SVO, but it repriced the fare. Looks like it may be dead, but lingering in google flights.

I recall being able to schedule a layover in AMS without any problems.

I flew it a couple of weeks back - EMPTY plane loads.

Begging for some star alliance competition!

Eventually when I have the time I'll jump on an early 2016 DL fare probably but I haven't been able to find many good prices for Star or on DL from SEA/YVR/PDX, LAX is a bit too far, but if it's cheap enough a positioning flight might work.
