My first thread, I hope you find this useful...

Origin in Europe: ex. BRU, FRA, LHR, LIS, etc
Destination: GRU, GIG
Open jaws and double open jaws possible and encouraged to lower the price!
One free stop over in the US, one more for just $100!
~19-21k miles (75%-100% on *A)
Fare V
You can play around the number of stopovers to optimize mileage.
Category 3: Seasonal restrictions
PERMITTED 25AUG THROUGH 12DEC OR 06JAN THROUGH 31MAY ON

Several dates available from March through May.

United V credits 100% to A3. Could be an easy way of keeping star gold.

And Asiana just dropped it to 75% this week
Still worth it though, as I'm going to stay a few months.

Great Find

I did some flights in the past to GIG from Manchester MAN at similar prices.

I can get lower prices doing DUB - GRU - MAN in November ..Would love to hear some suggestions how I can add in extra flights to boost the miles.

Also am not sure what a double open jaw is but if this can help go for it

No matter how crazy the route I am always up for it ...So far I am free to take flights September to End of 2015 so any dates in between are great.

I see Alitalia $436 LHR-FCO-GIG departing in May. ~3.3 CPM for anyone trying to accrue for Skyteam.

This works for oneworld and skyteam as well. I can get it as low as 706USD on aa.com. Sample Itin:
5/14: DUB-GIG
5/19: gig- jfk
5/27: jfk - dub
All on american: can use BA TATL for 760 USD

I see Delta for 840USD searching on google.com/flights as well

The economy Alitalia flight is a good deal, but the ones I found were fare class R, that's 0% accrual on Flying Blue for example! So great price, but not so much the miles earned…

The premium economy flights are quite tempting and I almost bought it. Fares A and Y for 100-150% accrual on Skyteam and a nice upgraded service. 13-14k miles, I believe) - still around 5cpm
Also available for some weeks from other cities like FRA and BRU.

I still think UA flight is good value for 20k miles

I am leaving from BRU, going to GIG, then leaving from GRU and arriving to LIS. So origin and departure are different at both ends.
I think that's called "double open jaw". Someone correct me if I am wrong. But could not find anything below 736 euros.

These fares are around in the mid-$800 to low $900s very frequently, though it seems to allow for more origins. Typically from my experience, the lowest fares are often limited to OSL, ARN, AMS, BRU. Looking back at my old receipts, the fares I've paid have been close to the same for the past couple of years in the currency it was marketed in (SEK, NOK, DKK, EUR) but the strong dollar has made it cheaper when buying in USD.

Even right before Carnival when I took it to OSL-GRU it was $850. My 6-week stopover in EWR on the way back kicked up the base fare a little bit. Sooner returns were pricing lower.

Once in a while I've seen it for very short periods ex-BRU in K class for low $700 when the others are in the high $800 to low 900 range

PRetty sure you can't do much more than going from EWR to IAH/ORD/IAD then connecting to Brazil to add more miles.
