I booked it on AA. You can go to AA website directly from Kayak. I just checked it and it works.

nice, for 20 bucks more and 300 miles less you can book JFK-LAX, might be worth it for some to fly the 321.

Wish we'd see something comparable out of EWR.

I usually don't like the attitude of some people on here...too mean and demeaning towards other posters.

But...you're complaining about not getting sales out of your airport that's only 20 miles from LGA??? And in the area with more public transportation than anywhere else in the country???

There are LOTS of people all over the US who would LOVE to have a fare sale within 100 miles of them, much less one that's literally just a few miles away.

Okay...I'm done ranting. This is a good deal for people ANYWHERE in the NYC area.

Hmmm, not seeing this fare anymore... "The flight you selected is no longer available. Please select another flight or modify your request".

(BTW, it was working as one-ways too... DEN - LAX - NYC still there?)

At least I got a booking on hold which I'm OK with. Thanks OP!

Same fare was available out of Newark, though without the non-stop to LAX, obv.

Anyone that lives in the TriState area knows that the "20 miles" you refer to can take 2 hours or more to get between. And if you're traveling further out from either airport, that adds more to your total trip time. So get off your high horse. And many of the 10-12 million people that actually live in and around the NYC metro area will tell you they plan their outbound itineraries based on their proximity from either JFK, EWR or LGA.

Not to join either side but I live in OK and it is a two hour drive to DFW which has few mileage runs and really no easy to reach airport alternative.

AA: 6800 Miles/3.6CPM = LGA-DFW-LAX-DEN-LAX-ORD-LGA

Similar to the deal posted by WindwalkerAlex the other day, I just came across this today with a same day turn, so I thought I would share.

$248 and 6800 miles on April 18th

Couldn't find any other same day turns so I booked this instead.

Thanks WRXcellent!

Yup, looks like DFW/ORD transit or nonstop routings from any NYC airport can be used.

I picked up a JFK-LAX-DEN-LAX-DFW-LGA ticket for $249.20. A bit higher cpm than other routings, but this was a <24hr solution - 12:45pm to 11:48am next day -, just needed to get the flight out of DEN @9:50pm same-day as getting there!

Thanks WWAlex!

I saw this option and I also wanted to do it so I could get on the new A321 nonstop JFK-LAX, but starting and ending at two different airports would be more of a pain for me especially after 24 hours of flying.
