*A/OW/ST alliances: SEA/LAX-JNB ~$1200 ai RT
On *A, OneWorld, Skyteam via EU hubs. Available on many dates in March-May. Sample dates 4/4 - 4/12. Interestingly, Matrix prices some dates in April at $724 on skyteam, but i cannot find this price on any OTA.

yeah, thats a long time in coach. I can find AA fares for SEA-LAX-LHR-JNB being AS/AS/BA operated and SWU available on LHR-LAX & return. Wonder if there is any reasonable cost way to upfare just the LHR-JNB to Prem Economy and use Avios/AA to upgrade on an AA ticket...
