Fares to US looks very attractive but not really. Starting at RM4,000 r/t is nothing to shout about from KUL.

Why? I thought the redeemable miles would drop after March 1, but the Elite miles would still be based on miles flown. I believe this is a K fare, which says it's 100% earning on United's site.
If I'm wrong, please let me know...just trying to decide if this is worth my time/money.
