I booked it on aa.com, using multi-city:
MXP-EZE
EZE-LAX
LAX-MXP

mvd is pretty safe, to my standards, or do you mean mxp?
Uruguay is the safest country in the neighbourhood.

Not to go toooo far off topic here, but MVD has good and bad neighborhoods. I have visited several times and enjoy the place. There are areas where you should not go after dark, but I wouldn't expect it to be any more dangerous than some of the other cities in that part of the world.

AA: MXP-EZE $611 return all in

MVD is safe, and in someways better than EZE because the people are less pretentious.

Also, I was able to price this with a stopover in MIA/TPA. Going over 30 days bumped the price by $200, but that could still be worthwhile for someone.

Did exactly that in 2013 between MXP and SCL. we flew mxp-jfk in August and then JFK-MIA-SCL in November and then flew SCL-MIA-MXP back. One SWU upgraded MXP-JFK-MIA-SCL and another for SCL-MIA-MXP.

My reply is probably too late to be of much help, but yes I am seeing routings through DFW on both the outbound and inbound flights.

Fare is alive and well and bookable on AA.com . Price has dropped by a few $$$ .

Not at $600. One stopover is free, the second prices at $100. In practice it is a little weirder than that. ITA doesn't give accurate prices but if you use multi-city search with GF (which also gives bad prices) and click through you'll succeed.

eg: I just booked

LIN-LHR-BOS - stop
BOS-DFW-EZE RT - stop
BOS-LHR-FCO

for $801 ai

provided the day of departure X:Italy is less than 30 days before the day of departure X:USA this prices pretty much for all dates, for all Eastern cities incl. CHI/DAL

3.7 cpm and two flights on the new 787. A week in Argentina. Even if I don't fly the last leg still under 5 cpm.

Thanks for the update. I assume the 30 days requirement X:USA is for the last ex-BOS? (BOS-LHR-FCO)

exactly. The last stopover must depart less than 30 days from the first departure.

This thing is still alive and well, scattered dates. I just booked this for end of June/early July:

mxp-mia-dfw-eze-dfw-mia-mxp

22,674 miles, $583.53, 2.57cpm

767-300s on MXP-MIA vv but 787 on DFW-EZE vv ^

Thanks OP!
