From the DL fare rules:

Category 13: Accompaniment restrictions
MUST BE ACCOMPANIED ON ALL SECTORS IN SAME COMPARTMENT BY
AT LEAST 1 ADULT IN VQ0N0US FARE CLASS.

Never seen anything like it!

I agree. Today is the last day for the deal on Emirates... so I'm doubtful AA will join the others.

UA: EWR-MXP $404 RT Must buy 2 tickets

Fare on UA appears to be gone, as 1/22 was the last day of the Emirates sale. On 1/20 I was able to get two on the NS 2/6~2/10 for $404 ea.

That's a bit concerning, since I also have a leg on Swiss that hasn't confirmed yet, and of course, the fare is now expired. If they have to reroute me, are they required to do so at no additional charge or can they charge me more since it's not ticketed or paid for yet?

I do have a confirmation number for Swiss, but their website only shows the UA segment.

Try checking your itinerary on the SV website to see if it ticketed. Had a similar issue with an LX, UA interline a while back. Turned out to be nothing.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Status never changed, so I called today and the agent told me Swiss couldn't confirm the segment in that fare class, so I could only have it if I payed more. She did the song and dance about not being responsible for partners' availability. I find it deceptive to advertise a partner's fare if they can't actually offer that fare. I ended up canceling.

Maybe this is grounds for a DOT complaint.

apology to UA

Just received notification, one of the trips was approved at the fare.
Happy about it of course and must apologize to UA for thinking this was a
deal that could not happen
